J&J has now offered an offer of $8.9 billion to settle lawsuits.
The involvement of funders is public information because of a New Jersey court rule requiring the disclosure of certain information about funding sources outside of the. The rule aims to respond to the increasing calls for regulation of litigation funders. J&J has more than 60,000 claims when you take into account state and federal baby powder lawsuits. Third-party funding for mass tort lawsuits has its pros and pros and.
